Not so sure what a coach even does? We believe that clients are whole, capable beings. We work collaboratively, giving you the space you need to explore, asking questions that provoke insight and awareness, and holding you accountable. My role is to challenge you, just out of your comfort zone because that's where growth happens. I might call you out, I might make you squirm, and my goal is to help you change. Let's face it, if you're seeking a coach, it's because you're not satisfied with something in your life. Change is hard, we often resist it. A coach can help you through the process of change.
I use a Positive Psychology Approach to coaching. It doesn't mean I'm all smiles, rainbows and unicorns. Ultimately what underlies this approach is a focus on working towards happiness and wellbeing as a process. This is covert work I'm talkin' about though. I'm not going to throw a bunch of gratitude practices at you or tell you to count your blessings. Not because they don't work, but because maybe that doesn't fit you and your goals. Instead, we'll discuss the issues you bring to the table from different perspectives, we'll assess what strengths and attributes you already have, we'll define and work towards your goals with well-being in mind.

Let's get to know each other a little before committing to working together. During this free 45 minute session I will go over what coaching is, what to expect from me, and what future sessions will look like. We'll have an opportunity to ask each other questions to make sure we are the right fit.
Finally, if we decide to work together, we will go over things like scheduling, fees, cancellation policy etc.

I like to keep things simple. After an introductory session we will book our coaching sessions as needed, at a pace that works best for you. We can work over the phone, or Zoom. (Live in Comox Valley? Ask me about in-home visits!)
